About the event
About the Event
The Daring to Share Long-Term Care Advocacy Series is a monthly educational forum dedicated to empowering residents, families, care partners, healthcare professionals, and community advocates with the knowledge, tools, and connections needed to improve long-term care.
Each session features respected guest speakers who explore timely topics such as residents' rights, family advocacy, staffing shortages, dementia care, compassionate care, caregiver well-being, accountability, system reform, and other issues shaping the future of long-term care.
Together, we will transform lived experience into meaningful action by fostering informed conversations, sharing practical strategies, and inspiring collective advocacy.
Whether you are navigating the long-term care system, supporting a loved one, working in the sector, or passionate about creating change, this series offers a welcoming space to learn, connect, and become part of a growing movement committed to dignity, compassion, accountability, and excellence in care.
Together, we are transforming silence into change.
