About the event
About the Event
The Daring to Share Elder Care Advocacy Series is a monthly educational forum dedicated to empowering residents, families, care partners, healthcare professionals, and community advocates with the knowledge, tools, and connections needed to improve Ontario's Elder Care System.
Each session features respected guest speakers who explore timely topics such as how to navigate your options, caregiver & residents' rights, staffing: improving care, understanding and planning care costs, family advocacy, planning the final chapter, dementia care, compassionate care, caregiver well-being, palliative & hospice care, and the controversies and future developments of MAID—all shaping the future of where our elders live and how they are cared for.
Together, we will transform lived experience into meaningful action by fostering informed conversations, sharing practical strategies, and inspiring collective advocacy.
Whether you are navigating the care system, supporting a loved one, working in the sector, or passionate about creating change, this series offers a welcoming space to learn, connect, and become part of a growing movement committed to dignity, compassion, accountability, and excellence in care.
Understand the system before you are in crisis.
